Location: Piazza Barberini

One of the most famous squares in Rome, it is to be found at the bottom of the world famous Via Veneto, symbol of “la dolce vita”.
The square is dominated by the Fountain of the Triton, a work by Bernini, completed in 1643.
Nearby, in via Quattro Fontane, we can find Palazzo Barberini, home to the National Gallery of Ancient Art, which contains some works of important artistic value. The building itself is a fine example of Roman baroque architecture and Maderno, Bernini and Borromini all contributed to its construction.
